Lonesome Ranch. Southwest Emo.
Extended Bio:
Austin Texas based Lonesome Ranch, formed in early 2024, brings Southwest Emo to the Lonestar State, blending indie pop rockers with a dose of dusty trails on a dark night and the feeling of unescapable dread. Lead by guitarist and vocalist Daleth Mountjoy and joined by Drew Wilson (bass) and Alex Tanton (drums), the band brings a history of musicianship and playing in numerous bands across the midwest and Texas before forming in late 2023.
Lonesome Ranch brings energetic live performances and original songs that their moms say “sound pretty neat.”
Lonesome Ranch spends their time writing original songs, playing shows in Austin, and anxiously anticipating the release of their debut EP, “Ghost”, expected late 2024. Recorded and mixed by Con Davison at 5th Street Studios in Austin and mastered by Grammy nominated Huntley Miller, the EP showcases Lonesome Ranch’s range, from the recognizable indie rock feeling of “Home” and “Overthinking”, emo with a capital “E” in “Tomorrow’s Here Today”, to the western-dipped murder ballad “Ghosts.”
